Core Features & Fixes

Doorstep Loading Patch: Resolved the initialization issue where the BepInEx "doorstep" (the initial entry point) failed to hook correctly into the game process.
Abnormal Crash Resolution: Applied stability patches to address various abnormal crashes that occur during the game's startup sequence and initial injection phase.
Integrated Metadata Decryption: Starsand Island utilizes an encrypted global-metadata.dat. This build includes a built-in handler to decrypt and load the metadata seamlessly, allowing BepInEx to correctly map the game's internal structure.
Il2CppInterop Bundled: Comes pre-packaged with Il2CppInterop. It is ready for mod loading and development immediately after installation.

Installation

Backup: It is always recommended to back up your game saves and original executable before installing mods.
Download & Extract: Download the archive and extract all files directly into your Starsand Island Root directory (the folder containing StarsandIsland.exe).
Launch: Run the game as usual.
Note: The first launch may take significantly longer than usual as BepInEx generates the necessary interop assemblies. Please do not close the game during this process.
