About this Mod

Makes the lobby player cap configurable (1-250). The default is 8. Raise the config value if you want bigger lobbies. Only host needs to use the mod.

Description
This mod makes the player limit fully configurable (1-250), so you can host lobbies as big as you want.

Only the host needs this mod. Friends with the unmodded game can join your bigger lobby normally.

Installation instructions
Install BepInEx 5 (see Requirements below) and launch the game once.
Extract this mod's zip into the game folder (the one with "How to Fish.exe"), merging with the existing BepInEx folder. You should end up with:
...\How to Fish\BepInEx\plugins\MorePlayers.dll
3. Done. Host a lobby, it allows 8 players by default.

To change the cap: launch the game once with the mod installed, then edit
BepInEx\config\com.logicmods.howtofish.moreplayers.cfg
and set Max Players to whatever you want (1-250). Note: the game is only tuned for small groups, very large lobbies may lag or get chaotic.

To verify it loaded: open BepInEx\LogOutput.log After launching, look for "MorePlayers loaded. Lobby size set to 8."

Requirements
BepInEx 5 (x64), the mod loader. If you already have a "BepInEx" folder in your game directory, you're set.

Download "BepInEx_win_x64_5.4.23.5.zip" (or newer 5.x) from the official BepInEx releases page.
2. Right-click "How to Fish" in Steam > Manage > Browse local files.
3. Extract the BepInEx zip directly into that folder, so "BepInEx" and "winhttp.dll" sit next to "How to Fish.exe".
4. Launch the game once and quit so BepInEx generates its folders.
