About this Mod

Makes the train station at the railroad functional and lets modders add more stations to create a connected travel network.

⚠ This mod is deprecated. It'll be kept updated to support older content packs, but newer mods should use Central Station instead.

This mods adds a ticket machine at the railroad, which lets you travel to train stations added by other mod authors for a fee. This creates a connected travel network to travel throughout the world.

Install

Install the latest version of SMAPI.
Unzip the mod folder into Stardew Valley/Mods.
Run the game using SMAPI.

How to use (for players)
Walk to the railroad and interact with the ticket machine to buy tickets. For boat destinations, unlock Willy's boat and then interact with the ticket machine there.

If it says "No destinations available", make sure you installed a content pack that adds a railroad destination (and that it's been unlocked if it's conditional).

How to use (for mod authors)
There are two steps to add a train station:

Add a ticket machine to open the train menu by adding a tile property to the map.
Add a destination to the train menu by creating a content pack.

Common questions

Is the mod still compatible?
The mod is compatible with Stardew Valley 1.6.15 or later on Linux/macOS/Windows, both single-player and multiplayer.

Does the mod conflict with any others?
Some mods may change the layout of the railroad location, so the ticket machine and disembark position are somewhere they shouldn't be. You can fix it by opening this mod's config.json file in a text editor, and changing the TicketStationX, TicketStationY, RailroadWarpX, and RailroadWarpY fields. You can use Debug Mode to see tile positions in-game.

Otherwise there are no known mod conflicts. Feel free to report compatibility issues in the mod comments.
