Alecto the Witch (New NPC)

This mod has been updated for version 1.6 by VinillaBean!

Due to personal matters, I'm taking a break from modding. I have enough time to respond to comments and upload bugfixes or updates provided by others, but I won't be updating mods myself or adding new features.

Important Notice: The only "quest" added by this mod is a message requesting you to bring Alecto a Prismatic Shard. Any other quests are included through Aimon's amazing work. Distant Lands Swamp Mod with built-in Alecto compatibility.

My take on Rasmodius's ex, the witch!

Alecto is a woman of many facets. A cranky wine aficionado. A closet romantic. The self-proclaimed "owner" of two crows. Currently navigating a rough patch. A touch... hexed. She can be recruited at any point before you unlock the Witch's Hut, and is available to interact with immediately upon meeting her—no Magic Ink quest needed (just don't let the wizard know).

Configuration Options:

• Female Wizard: Set this to "true" if you have any mods that replace the wizard with a female version (e.g., Razolyn, Rasmodia).
• Load Witch Hut Set this to "false" if you have any other mods that add events to the Witch's Hut (this addresses SMAPI errors about multiple mods trying to load "Data/Events/WitchHut").
  

Compatibility:

• Should be compatible with most other mods, including other Witch NPCs.
• Built-in compatibility for female wizard replacement pronouns, though Alecto will definitely hint that her ex-wife looks older than she appears...
• Will conflict with any mods that replace the witch sprite in the void egg random event.
• Aimon's Distant LandsBuilt-in compatibility with Alecto.
• I've done my best to minimize lore inconsistencies, though she will inevitably clash with other versions of the witch (unless we imagine the wizard has a lot of furious ex-wives, I suppose) and with the Harvest Goddess, since she won't realize Ras is "on vacation."
• Compatible with events from various custom NPC mods (e.g. Juna, Lavril, Lucikiel, Jean and Jorts).
• Bonus events if East Scarp and/or NPC Wellwick Installed!
• Has additional days in her schedule if 东崖 or Ridgeside Village Installed!
• Her crows hang out with Jorts, Jean and Mr. GingerIf all are installed.
  

Known Issues:

• Alecto may become stuck on the railroad map when SVE is installed because of a patch of grass added outside her cave. If you clear the grass with a scythe whenever it regrows, she should be fine! For a permanent fix, please report the issue using the SVE Compatibility Form:)
