You finally took down the final boss, watched the credits roll over Vermeil City, and patted your trusty Monstie on the head. Congratulations, Rider! But let me tell you a secret that every veteran knows: that 40-hour campaign was just the tutorial.

En Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection, the post-game content is where the true depth of the RPG shines. The training wheels come off, and you are thrown into the deep end with High Rank (HR) monsters, brutally difficult Co-op Expeditions, and the ultimate endgame challenge: The Shattered Labyrinth.

I remember loading up my post-game save, feeling invincible with my Level 40 Ratha, only to get absolutely flattened by a High Rank Velocidrome in the starting area.

In this comprehensive endgame guide, we will break down exactly what unlocks after the credits, what armor you need to forge immediately so you don’t get one-shot, how to survive the Labyrinth’s rogue-like mechanics, and how to use the XMODhub PC Trainer to skip the agonizing hundreds of hours of RNG grinding.

Our guide team has fully mapped the endgame loops on the Day 1 Steam build of MHS3. A crucial warning for fresh High Rank Riders: Do not instantly sell your Low Rank materials! Many High Rank weapon trees require a base Low Rank weapon to be forged first. If you are struggling with the sudden difficulty spike and losing your Labyrinth loot, check out our XMODhub Trainer Shortcut section below to level the playing field.

Quick Answer: What to Do After Beating MHS3

(Just beat the final boss and wondering where to go next? Here is your immediate post-game checklist to unlock the endgame.)

  • Speak to the Elder: Load your cleared save file and talk to the Elder in Vermeil City to officially unlock High Rank (HR) missions and dens.
  • Farm High Rank Ore: Do not fight large monsters yet. Run around the Azurian plains mining HR outcrops to forge a basic High Rank Ore armor set to survive basic hits.
  • Check the Ranger Board: The quest board now features 8-Star Subquests and repeatable boss bounties that reward infinite Bottle Caps.
  • Enter the Shattered Labyrinth: Locate the glowing rift near the Permafrost Caverns to begin farming Level 3 Talismans and Nutriments.
  • Hunt for SR Dens: Purchase SR Expedition Tickets from Melynx Inc. and launch Co-op Expeditions to hatch God-tier Elder Dragons.

Welcome to High Rank: Red Names & New Materials

The moment you unlock High Rank, the world of Azuria changes drastically.

When you encounter monsters in the wild or dive into High Rank Monster Dens (marked by their distinct glowing red hue), you will notice their names are written in Red Text. These are High Rank variants. They hit twice as hard, possess massively expanded HP pools, and often feature new, unpredictable attack patterns in Head-to-Head clashes.

The Material Shift: Defeating these monsters yields entirely new materials. Instead of standard Rathian Scales, you will now loot Rathian Scale+ or Rathian Shards. You must completely re-gear your Rider because your fully upgraded Low Rank armor is mathematically obsolete against High Rank damage modifiers.

Survival 101: Best Early High Rank Armor to Farm

If you try to hunt a High Rank Tigrex in your Low Rank gear, you will lose all three hearts in three turns. You need a transitional armor set immediately.

  • High Rank Azurian Defender Set: This should be your first goal. It requires zero monster parts. Simply equip a Monstie with the “Ore Search” ability, run into red HR dens, and mine every node you see for Carbalite Ore and Dragonite Ore. This set offers massive raw defense to keep you alive.
  • High Rank Velocidrome Set: Once you have the Ore set, hunt HR Velocidromes in the starting area. This set is incredibly easy to farm and grants the HR version of “Speed Boost,” ensuring you attack first in critical clashes.

The Shattered Labyrinth: MHS3’s Rogue-like Challenge

The crown jewel of the Twisted Reflection endgame is The Shattered Labyrinth.

Accessible via the glowing dimensional rift, the Labyrinth is a grueling, procedurally generated rogue-like dungeon. It consists of multiple “floors” that pull environmental hazards and frenzied monster spawns from every region in the game.Monster Hunter Stories 3

Labyrinth Mechanics You Must Respect:

  • No Manual Saves: Once you enter, you cannot save your game until you defeat a Floor Boss and reach a Catavan checkpoint.
  • The Loot Penalty: If your party wipes and you lose all three hearts, you are kicked out of the Labyrinth, and you lose all the rare Talismans and chests you gathered on that run.
  • The Fatigue System: Healing items are strictly limited to what you find inside the Labyrinth chests. You cannot bring your massive stockpile of 99 Mega Potions from your overworld item box. You must play perfectly.

Super Rare (SR) Dens & Deviant Monsters

If you want to build the absolute [Best Monsties Tier List] roster for Ranked PvP, you must dive into SR Dens.

These dens require SR Expedition Tickets (which cost 100 Bottle Caps each at Melynx Inc.). At the bottom of these High Rank Co-op dens lie Deviant Monsters (like Silverwind Nargacuga or Dreadking Rathalos) and Elder Dragons. Defeating them is the ultimate test of your Rider’s skill and your Monstie’s gene build, but the reward is the chance to hatch the most overpowered creatures in the game.

Skip the Grind: Conquer the Endgame with XMODhub

Let’s be honest. The MHS3 endgame is incredible, but the grind required to actually enjoy it is staggering. Running the Labyrinth for two hours only to wipe on a Frenzied Rajang and lose all your Level 3 Talismans is enough to make anyone uninstall. And farming 100 Bottle Caps just to lose an SR Ticket to bad egg RNG? Unacceptable.

You shouldn’t have to quit your day job to enjoy High Rank. That is exactly why the XMODhub PC Trainer exists.

How to Dominate the Post-Game Instantly:

Activate the Endgame Hacks:

  • God Mode / Infinite HP: Never wipe in the Shattered Labyrinth again. Walk through every floor and guarantee your loot extraction without stressing over potion management.
  • One-Hit Kill: Speed-farm High Rank monsters in seconds to instantly craft the best endgame armor sets.
  • Infinite Consumables: Buy one SR Ticket, turn this toggle on, and run Super Rare Co-op Expeditions infinitely without ever grinding Bottle Caps.
  • Guaranteed Rainbow Eggs: Pull perfect-stat Elder Dragons on your very first try from SR Dens.

Our memory injection is client-side and completely safe for your save file, allowing you to bypass the artificial time-sinks and experience the absolute peak of MHS3 combat on your own terms.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Q: Do my Low Rank Monsties become obsolete in High Rank?

A: No! Unlike your Rider’s armor, your Monsties scale seamlessly into High Rank. As long as you continue to level them up and optimize their gene boards via the Rite of Channeling, your starter Monstie can theoretically fight an Elder Dragon.

Q: Can I access the Shattered Labyrinth in Co-op?

A: Yes. MHS3 introduces Labyrinth Co-op, allowing you and a friend to tackle the procedurally generated floors together. However, enemy HP scales up by 1.5x when playing in duo mode, so bring a coordinated team.

Q: Where is the best place to level up for High Rank?

A: Before tackling the deeper floors of the Labyrinth, spend some time in the Azurian Steppe High Rank dens. Use the “Quick Finish” mechanic on weaker HR monsters (if your level is high enough to trigger it) to rapidly boost your party from Level 40 to 50.

Conclusion: Become an Azurian Legend

The post-game of Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection is a massive, rewarding playground for dedicated Riders. Between forging High Rank gear, navigating the perilous Shattered Labyrinth, and hunting legendary Elder Dragons, there is easily another 100 hours of content waiting for you after the credits.

But if you want to skip the tedious material farming and purely enjoy the high-stakes tactical combat, you are in control.
