Why it works: Unlike historical figures who are bound by destiny (e.g., Guan Yu must die), Ziluan can change fate. His choices are the key to unlocking the “True History” ending.

Building affinity with famous officers isn’t just for flavor text; it unlocks gameplay benefits.

• 🎁 Gift Giving: Visit officers in Encampments. Giving “Fine Wine” to Zhang Fei or “Books” to Zhuge Liang boosts stats.
• ⚔️ Support Attacks: At Max Bond, officers can be summoned into battle as “Bodyguards,” using their Musou attacks on command.
• 📜 Secret Endings: You cannot trigger the “Alliance” ending unless you have Max Bond with both Cao Cao and Liu Bei.
