Survival is no longer about drinking beer; it’s about not freezing to death. A deep dive into the Infinite Money Cheat, building the Taettara, and why using a Trainer might save your sanity.

What Is My Winter Car? More Than Just a Sequel
Welcome back to Finland, but leave your sunglasses at home. My Winter Car (MWC) is the highly anticipated standalone sequel to the cult classic My Summer Car. Developed by the one-man army at Amistech Games, this title trades the warm, mosquito-filled summer of 1995 for the brutal, unforgiving winter.
If you are new here, understand one thing: This is not a casual game. It is a “suffering simulator.” You are tasked with restoring a rusted wreck of a car (the Taettara) while managing realistic survival stats like hunger, thirst, urine, fatigue, and now—core body temperature. The game doesn’t hold your hand; it slaps it away.
My Winter Car Cheats: Infinite Money & God Mode
Most players arriving here are looking for the Money Cheat. Since the developer has disabled the Console Commands, you cannot simply type codes. You need a Trainer.
💸 Infinite Money Cheat
The economy is punishing. Use the Trainer to instantly inject 500,000mk so you can buy the Turbo kit and Winter Tires immediately without grinding sewage jobs.
🛡️ God Mode (No Death)
Stop the Hypothermia mechanic from killing you. This cheat locks your body temperature, hunger, and thirst stats so you can focus on building the car.
⚠️ Trainer vs. Cheat Table
Avoid complex Cheat Tables (.CT). They often break with game updates and corrupt save files. Our Trainer injects safely into the Unity engine.
My Summer Car vs. My Winter Car: What Changed?
Veterans of the first game might think they are prepared. They are wrong. The shift in seasons fundamentally changes how the physics engine and survival mechanics work. Here is the deep dive comparison:
| The Environment |
☀️ Summer: Dirt roads, infinite daylight, easy grip.
❄️ Winter: Snow-covered roads, short days (darkness), black ice.
|
| The Killer |
🦟 Thirst & Wasps: You mostly died from crashing or dehydration.
🥶 Hypothermia: The cold is an active enemy. Stop moving? You freeze.
|
| The Machine |
🚗 Satsuma (FWD): Front-wheel drive, easier to control when sliding.
🏎️ Taettara (RWD): Rear-wheel drive. Harder to build, much harder to drive on ice.

Survival Mechanics: How to Not Freeze to Death
In most games, “Cold” is just a visual effect. In My Winter Car, it is a complex simulation. Understanding this system is the only way to avoid the “You Died” screen.
🌡️ The Temperature “Zone” System
Your body heat doesn’t just drop linearly. It works in zones (Indoors, Car Interior, Outdoors).
- Clothing Layers: You must buy winter gear immediately. A t-shirt in a blizzard kills you in minutes.
- The Sauna: This is your reset button. Unlike the shower in MSC which was for hygiene, the Sauna is now a critical tool to raise your core body temperature before a long trip.
- Alcohol Myth: Drinking beer blurs your vision and reduces stress, but it does NOT actually warm you up. Do not rely on booze to survive a night in the forest.
⚠️ The Car Heater Trap
Here is where most new players die. You get in the car, turn on the heater fan, and expect warmth. Wrong. The heater works like a real car—it draws heat from the engine coolant. If your engine is cold, the air blowing on you is -20°C. You can freeze to death inside a running car if you don’t let the engine idle up to temp first.
Building the Project Taettara: The Hardest Parts
The Satsuma was child’s play compared to the Taettara (based on the Ford Taunus TC). This Rear-Wheel Drive beast introduces new mechanical systems that will ruin your save file if assembled incorrectly.
1. Coolant & Antifreeze
In Summer, you could put water in the radiator. In Winter, water freezes. If you fill your radiator with tap water and leave it overnight, the expansion will crack your engine block. You must buy Antifreeze from Teimo’s shop immediately.
2. The RWD Differential
The rear axle assembly is complex. You must align the driveshaft perfectly. If you miss a bolt on the U-joint, the driveshaft will detach while you are driving 100km/h on the highway, likely flipping the car and killing you instantly.
3. Wiring Hell 2.0
The wiring harness has returned, but now it controls the heating system too. If you forget to ground the heater core fan, you will have no defrost. This means your windshield will fog up completely while driving, leaving you blind.
Winter Tuning: Adjusting for the Cold
You built the car, but it won’t start. Or it starts, but stalls immediately. Why? Because cold air is denser than warm air. Your summer tuning logic does not apply here.
- 🔧 Carburetor AFR (Air Fuel Ratio)
You need a Leaner Mix. Target an AFR of 13.5 to 14.0. If you run too rich (like in summer), the cold spark plugs will foul instantly, and the engine will flood.
- 🔋 The Choke & Battery
Batteries lose charge rapidly in the cold. You only have a few attempts to crank the engine. Always pull the Choke 100% out before turning the key. Do NOT touch the gas pedal until the engine catches, or you waste precious battery life.
- 🛞 Tire Pressure Strategies
Drop your tire pressure to 25 PSI or lower. Hard, fully inflated tires have less contact patch on the ice. Lower pressure gives you slightly more grip, which might save you from sliding into a ditch.
Performance Guide: FPS Boost & Lag Fix
My Winter Car runs on the Unity engine, and let’s be honest—it’s not the most optimized game. Physics calculations for hundreds of loose items (beer bottles, bolts) can tank your framerate.
Simple Tweaks for +20 FPS:
- Disable “Real Mirrors”: This is the #1 performance killer. It forces the game to render the world twice. Turning this off usually doubles FPS instantly.
- Shadow Distance: Set this to “Medium” or “Low”. Since everything is covered in white snow, high-quality shadows are less noticeable but very taxing on the GPU.
- Delete Trash: Over time, empty oil jugs and beer cases accumulate. Use the “Clean Up Items” function in our Trainer to delete these loose physics objects and free up CPU cycles.
🛠️ Skip the Suffering: The XmodHub Solution
Community polls show that 90% of players eventually use mods. Why? because losing a 40-hour save file due to a physics glitch isn’t fun. It’s broken. Take control of the game with our custom-built Trainer.

The comparison to MSC makes so much sense now. The weather isn’t just cosmetic; it changes everything from car building to survival. I think the most surprising challenge for me has been managing both my car and my body’s temperature—it really takes survival to the next level!
